We first had a mostly white blackbird, and now we have a mostly white fantail, both in nearby areas. The fantail was reported some time again, but trying to find it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. By chance, a birding colleague spotted it, and shared his finding with me. After investing hours, of wait and see, I eventually got to see and photograph the bird. Judging by all the locations it has been reported, it seems to have quite a large home territory, covering several blocks of town. A beautiful bird in its own way, but not pure white like the bird seen in Stratford in 2020.
