Pure white fantail, Stratford

Sometimes I have come across a bird with colour aberration, but this last week's pure while fantail was extra special. A beautiful bird whatever the colour, I now have pictures of black, white and pied fantails. This current leucistic white fantail has been resident in Stratford's King Edward Park for several months, and is very site faithful, always found in the same small area. During our visit the bird stayed along the Patea River, hopping from rock to rock chasing insects. Three times I saw other fantails go for it, indicating he or she is not being accepted among them.
