Our old friend, AJD, is back on the Whanganui Estuary for the 13th summer. I first found him this year after migration at Foxton, on 2 October, so he has remained there two months. It is usual for him to move over to Whanganui in the first week of December. A bird of rigid routine, I expect him to stay with us until his usual migration date of March 25, 2021.
