AJD Continues his Summer Sojourn on the Whanganui

This year, for the first time, AJD has only been at Whanganui for his summer sojourn. There has been no time at Foxton, due to his late arrival. Thankfully he is as lively as ever, and I have photographed him most days. Just now, in late January, we are starting to see the first hint of his breeding colours, as he prepares for another migration north in March. I have had a lot of good feedback on my book about him, "Feats Beyond Amazing", and even met people down at the estuary, there to see AJD, after having read the book about him - very thrilling.
