We are at that time of the year again, and our old friend AJD is colouring up nicely for his departure next month to the Yellow Sea, enroute to Alaska. Almost daily more and darker colours can be seen, indicating that he plans on another trip to the northern hemisphere (his 16th). We wait and watch eagerly as his moult progresses.
